Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Assist with the administration of the psychology department’s General Psychology subject pool.

Georgia Highlands College offers excellent opportunities for students to grow their skills while furthering their education.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor subject pool email account
•Input faculty research projects and participant parameters into research software
•Input student participants into research software
•Maintain timely and accurate list of student participants who’ve completed research credits
•Maintain timely and accurate list of student participants who fail to show up for research studies
•Maintain weekly or more contact with subject pool coordinator

Key Qualifications

• Current GHC Student
• Must Complete FAFSA to qualify for FWS (Federal Work Study Program)
• Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA)
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
• Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student
•Completion of ENGL 1101
•Experience sufficient to read and respond to faculty emails appropriately

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Computer literacy
•Comfort using the internet and internet-based software
•Ability to communicate appropriately with faculty via email
•Excellent time management skills
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Skill in oral and written communication

Salary $8.00 Hourly
