Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

This position will provide assistance and support to the athletics department and athletic advising.

Georgia Highlands College offers excellent opportunities for students to grow their skills while furthering their education.

Key Responsibilities

•Work 19 office hours a week around the coaching/athletic advisors schedule
•Provide clerical support and office assistance for the athletic department
•Serve as a professional representative for GHC Athletics, and the athletic advising department

Key Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Georgia Highlands College
• Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA)
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
• Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Knowledge of the admissions process at the school: SCORE account, website, and D2L
•Be proficient in computer applications and software
•Greet visitors to the Cartersville athletic department and assist guests where needed
•Respond to phone and e-mail inquiries and provide information on department activities.
•Process department mail and run errands (i.e. mail delivery, duplicating, business office, student accounts, bookstore).
•Maintain office inventory and restock supplies.
•Maintain cleanliness of work area.
•Maintain, with accuracy, reports and a variety of department data bases.
•Assist student center staff with projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Salary $8.00 Hourly
