Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Hired on “as needed” basis, this position will coordinate and supervise the administration of institutional tests to accommodate students with various disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises, gives guidance to, and trains Test Proctors as needed.
• Provides continuous training as rules and regulations change, testing software changes, or updates are made.
• Assists with the scheduling of Test Proctors on assigned campus(es) as needed.
• Helps prepare for test administrations (i.e. setting up computer labs), monitors students during testing, and monitors Test Proctors for quality assurance and training purposes.
• Assists students with questions and concerns during test sessions, and contacts Assessment Center Coordinator for guidance and assistance when needed.
• Maintains control over testing room.
• Maintains test security, and other duties as assigned.
• Must work varied hours; some evenings, split shifts, and Saturdays.
• Travel between campuses may be required.

Key Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent is required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Prefer a background with previous supervisory and test administration experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Leadership, supervisory skills, communication skills, and computer skills required.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, required rules and procedures.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people, and ability to maintain control under pressure.
• Skills in working with D2L, eCompass, and standardized national tests a plus.
• Ability to work varied hours.
• Ability to travel between campuses.

Salary Salary Commensurate with experience
